2006-07 Highlights: Doug Kent had a season to remember in 2006-07. By virtue of his 2 victories, both majors, and his Tour leading $200,530 in earnings, Doug won the Chris Schenkel PBA Player of the Year award. He became the first bowler since the 2002-03 season to win multiple major titles in the same season. Doug cashed in all 20 events he participated in during the 2006-07 season.

Of Note: Doug was considering making the 2006-07 season his last at the end of the 2005-06 season, but his fantastic results helped change his mind. He has won nine career PBA Tour singles titles, three of which have been majors.

Personal: Doug has bowling ties within his own family, as his brother-in-law is fellow PBA superstar, Parker Bohn III. He currently resides in Newark, NY with his wife Chrissie and his children, Natalie and Olivia. Doug Kent Lane is a street in Newark, NY that was named after Doug recently to commemorate his career accomplishments.
